Are you still accepting portfolios?

Thanks :)

Denise C.

Those are great hero shots! I imagine them in a Hot Air Balloon floating along. What do you think? :) Great blog BTW!

tara

Yeah! Cool shots! So...Are you still accepting portfolios?

bob

Thanks for the interest.

We are still looking at portfolios.

I believe that our only needs are: a bg designer, board revisionist, and color/bg artist.

bob

A hot air balloon sounds good Denise!
Thanks for checking out the blog!

paula

I may have missed it but did you guys settle on a name/title?

Ken G.

These are so cool. I love the "hero" terminology/vocab for what you're trying to show. I suppose that every character might have a different kind of "hero" shot or attitude. In theatre, I've heard of this type of iconic visual referred to as tableux. Many years ago, when I pointed cameras at sporting events my job was to get "the hero shot" -- The smile or the high five after a score or good play. I'm beginning to see patterns in how stories and visual narratives are crafted. Fun, fun, fun AND great drawings.

I love the insight you are providing to those of us who have no working knowledge of what goes into an animated show. Thanks for sharing. :)

No Paula. Believe it or not we are still working out the title situation.
